This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) of TutorFuse LLC (the “Company”) stores and uses information collected from visitors to and registered users of (each, a “Visitor” and collectively, the “Visitors”) its website, https://tutorfuse.co and any derivative or affiliated websites on which this Privacy Policy is posted (collectively, the “Website”). The Policy is a supplement to the Company’s Terms of Use, as amended from time to time, as set forth on the Website. The Company reserves the right, at its discretion, to change the Policy and the Terms of Use at any time by posting such changes to the Website.

Each Visitor acknowledges that he or she has the obligation to check the Policy periodically for changes, and he or she hereby agrees to periodically review the Policy for any changes. The Company believes that every Visitor should know how the Company utilizes the information collected from Visitors. The Information the Company Collects:

The Company may collect information from Visitors in a variety of ways. The Company collects both “Personal Information” (i.e., information that is personally identified to a particular Visitor) and “Non-Personal Information” about Visitors.  Personal Information may include, without limitation, (i) contact data, such as, but not limited to,  a Visitor’s name, mailing address, phone number, and email address; and (ii) demographic data, such as a Visitor’s age, location, schools attended, interests, etc. If a Visitor communicates with the Company by email or otherwise, posts any comments or any other content on or to the Website, posts messages to any forums, completes online forms, surveys or entries, provides articles, reviews, or blog posts, or otherwise interacts with or uses the features on the Website, any information provided in such communications may be collected by the Company as Personal Information. How the Information Is Used:

All Personal Information that you provide to us when registering, posting a “Job,” posting a profile, communicating through the Website, or that you otherwise provide on the Website or by phone, email or postal mail, will be stored by the Company. You represent and warrant to us that you have the right and authority to provide us all Personal Information you provide about yourself or others. For purposes of this Policy, a “Job” is an engagement made by a Tutor and a Client; a “Tutor” is a person who has registered on the Website as an available tutor; and a “Client” is a person who has registered on the Website as a student (or the parent or legal guardian of a student) in search of a Tutor.

When posting a Job, whether as a Client or as a Tutor, the Company collects and stores all of the additional information that you provide on your Job posting including without limitation your expertise, qualifications, schedule, location, hourly rate, narrative, photos, education, school names, reviews and references.  The Company also captures and collects information that Visitors share among each other, including but not limited to reviews of Tutors and Clients.  

Disclosure of Information:

The Company may disclose personally identifiable information at the request of law enforcement or other governmental agencies or in response to subpoenas, court orders or other legal process, to establish, protect or exercise the Company’s legal or other rights or to defend against a legal claim or as otherwise required or allowed by law. The Company may disclose personally identifiable information in order to protect the rights, property or safety of a Visitor or any other person. The Company may disclose personally identifiable information to investigate or prevent a violation by a Visitor of any contractual or other relationship with the Company or the perpetration of any illegal or harmful activity. The Company may also disclose aggregate, anonymous data based on information collected from Visitors to investors and potential partners. Finally, the Company may disclose or transfer personally identifiable information collected from Visitors in connection with or in contemplation of a sale of its assets or business or a merger, consolidation or other reorganization of its business.

Technical Information:  Log files, IP addresses and information about your computer and mobile device.

When you visit the Website, the Company receives the internet protocol (“IP”) address of your computer (or the proxy server you use to access the internet), your computer operating system and type of web browser you are using. If you are using a mobile device, the Company may also receive your mobile device id (UDID), or another unique identifier, and mobile operating system. We may correlate this information with other Personal Information we have about you. Additionally, when you visit the Website, the Company and any third parties that the Company uses to place ads on the Website automatically receive the URL of the webpage from which you arrived at the Website. If you click on an ad, the Company and any such third party may also receive the URL of the page you were using when you clicked the ad and the URL of the site associated with the ad that you clicked.

How the Company Protects Information:

Visitor accounts on the Website are password protected when Visitors access their online accounts with the Company, and the Company urges Visitors to take steps to keep their passwords safe. If a Visitor believes that its password has been compromised, the Visitor should change the password immediately.
